Orientation Meeting for Volunteers Cape Cod DART (Disaster Animal Response Team)  WHEN: Tuesday Jan 31, 2012  6-8 WHERE: Cape Cod Dog  3 Main St Eastham   E-Mail your Questions to :  Outer Cape Animal Shelter Team	EDOA supports CCDART  Where will your pet go in a regional emergency? Hurricane? Ice storm? Flood? Nauset High School is the designated Regional Emergency Shelter for the outer Cape. In order to staff the shelter there we need volunteers who are willing to join and train with CCDART.  Please join us to find out what you can do to help.  NOW is the time.
Click for link to more info	Canine Flu A new and potentially dangerous canine flu (H3N8) is approaching our area.  Your Vet can help you assess the risks and benefits of the available vaccine to your dog.  This may be of particular concern if your dog socializes, boards or travels.

DOG WALKERS TAKE NOTE  Mutt Mitt dispensers are placed in dog friendly walking areas.  These mitts are generously donated from Agway of Cape Cod & the Town of Eastham (Recreation Department)	EDOA volunteers regularly check and fill these dispensers.  Should you discover an empty dispenser, please call 774-722-2348 and by all means BE A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER AND USE THESE BAGS
